» Clothing: Mikoto's street clothes are just the ones she wears when out and about in Yukigakure. Whether it be catching up with old friends, or purchasing groceries at the local food mart: Mikoto is as regular as any other person, minus the unusually attractive skin tone and the fascination with life. She was always the bright person, never liking to be shrouded in dark colors. Because of this, you will never see her in an all black uniform. Her clothes of the moment are pretty simple. She wears a hooded jacket, that goes to her waste, baby blue in color. The jacket zips up in the middle, and has two front pockets, much like any regular jacket. Under the jacket, she wears a sleeveless shirt, that buttons up in the front. The white shirt reaches her waist, not showing any skin down there except for the occasional belly button. She wears big and flexible baggy pants, dark blue much like the rest of the shinobi population. The baggy pants don't fall off of her or anything, and are at her waist, but they simply have a lot of room, producing heat. Not like it does anything to her. Last, Mikoto wears boot-like zori (something like what Timeskip Sakura Haruno wears) that are the same color as her pants. The bottom of the zori give grip to the wearer, like any normal shinobi shoe. Only the design differs. Her Yuki headband is tied around her neck, with white cloth.
Personality: Mikoto's ways are not deemed either irresponsible, or unacceptable. Her likes, dislikes, favorite pastimes, and daily activities can only hint the kind of person she is. The model person, of how most people want to be. Independant, and straight forward. Her sexual status is unknown, as relationships aren't well with her. She hasn't had many, other than friends, and doesn't plan on having any. She is fine the way she is. Her parents love her, she loves them, and her little brother admires her. The basic loving person, also a well devoted shinobi to the cause, she is more like the assistant to the overseer in a mindstate, when not in reality. She takes the medical facility into her mind, before anything else when out. Though, outside of the medical facility, her love is her family, first and foremost. She has never commited a crime, or at least, been caught doing so. Many people who run into Mikoto, think she's either a pushover, or just too nice. But you cannot find her true self, until you spend all hours of the day with her. The stronghearted shinobi's personality is both firm, solid, and everlasting. If tortured, she would die from the pain, before she gave up the answer. Easily commiting seppuku, if need be. She puts her division, and her country, before even herself. On and off of missions, she is a shinobi truly of legend, and a kunoichi with a passion for her occupation.
When assigned a mission, and in combat, her personality doesn't really change, rather than it stiffens up just a bit, and her ability to get mad is in effect. Though, mad, sometimes can easily be tied together with serious, instead of enraged. Though, not saying that there won't be any of these times, Mikoto has her moments where she yells blatanly, and tears fall from her cheeks. Everyone has these times, and it is only Mikoto who embraces it to the fullest. She is not ashamed of her anger, for her emotions is what makes her human, aside from genetics. Back to the mission. Since the Yukisen trusted her and the others of her group with such an important task, she knows what responsibilities are dangling on her very back. The knowledge that screwing up can never be undone, she handles each and every task with urgency and the utmost importance. There is no time for delay, or playing around. The villages property, which includes each and every one in it, should be the main priority. This is still focused on, even when one finds themselves venturing far away from the village, for they are only at another area, to either reinforce or rescue something of importance to the village, or the Yukisen himself. Her name to each other person is unknown, just as their names are unknown to her. The only thing the group of ninja share, is the task given to them. Social conversation, if any, is minimal. Though, this doesn't make Mikoto a hardass, or a brick wall. She can have a conversation, just not when she's concentrating on healing.
While off of a mission, and not on duty, she is able to be herself. The tightwad neatfreak that cleans her house for fun. Mikoto would never let any big group of people into her house, for she has carpet, and wouldn't want to clean it up. The carpet, other than visual, helps Mikoto relax, and has it's own sense of warmth to it. She's rather humble, for someone who hasn't had a relationship for a majority of her life. She is a young prodigy, who in hopes will do better in time, and reach her full potential as far as her overall abilities are concerned. Mikoto is rather protective of the random assemble of memorabilia in her house. Breaking anything in her house, and her right eye will twitch, following very swift attacks coming from her broom handle. Fifty hits to the head in about five seconds doesn't feel too good. Back to anything that matters. Mikoto can do without the old boy-toy thing, and she has done so for a while. Not shy, she is just timid, and would rather spend time with her family, before she gets a boy friend. Though, this is because the few that she has had haven't given her a reason to adore relationships. Mikoto is a great cook, and loves listening to music while drawing. And if she cannot do those things, digging her eyes into a good book always seem to get her mind flowing. If all else fails, the boredom can send Mikoto to random playgrounds, to chat it up with the adolescent youths that could be there.
History: The story begins when young Mikoto, after birth, was outside playing one day. Her mother, Chisoku Emi, and her father, Chisoku Asuma, watched as their little white haired daughter swung on the swingset. She seemed so sweet, and harmless. She laughed and giggled as she gained more momentum with each swing. Some random kid, after sliding down the slide, walked up to her side of the swing. "Let me on!" He commanded, and found himself catching one of the toddlers foot straight into his chin. Crying, he ran out of the park, as Mikoto continued to swing, giggling even more so than before. "Honey.." Asuma spoke to Emi. "Nevermind.." He stopped what he was going to say. Not much to say.
The little girl enjoyed things as such. Simple pleasures in life weren't the most rewarding, but they gave their own sentimental value, to each and every person. Granted, Mikoto was fortunate enough to have both of her parents, and enough currency to get her whatever she wanted. Not necessarily spoiled, but she didn't have a problem when it came to things money wise. Her parents, with a wealthy bread mother, lived the good life from time to time. She was but only three years old, when she was able to actually understand this fact. Though, most think because of her rich life, that she had it easy growing up. This was quite the contrary. Mikoto loved her parents a great bunch, though, she managed to hang out with her father, more than her mother. Her father was the funny, loving, and caring type. He would love to take his little girl out for ice cream in the local shop, and then go on the ski lift, as they looked at the sights.
The technology filled land was one that you could get lost in. And Mikoto would often find this out the hard way. She loved to run. It got her places, fast. She could be called the Forest Gump of snow, if that movie ever existed in the naruverse. It got her places, fast, and was free. Though, there has been many occasions where the youngster has found herself stuck under a big heap of snow, because her eyes hadn't been up to date with her body movements. Problems those that are not proficient in Taijutsu run into all the time. Still, her legs were always her favorite part of her body. Not her snow white hair, or her sea blue eyes, but those powerful motor jets known as legs. Mikoto was an only-child. Though, Emi and Asuma tried desperately to give Mikoto a sibling, they were just unable to. As if Mikoto was a miracle baby, a once in a lifetime thing. They wanted another child, just because they felt that other than Mikoto having fun with the few friends that she had, she was alone when at the house. Not that she needed company at her age. She still was in her baby-phase.
When she reached the age of five, Emi got a little sick, and was put under a drug, to decrease the sickness. Nothing fatal, it just stopped Emi from being able to provide for her family, or village, as a kunoichi. She was known as one of the fastest ninja in the village. Kunoichi, or not. Her speed was rumored to rival that of the Yukisen's. But, this is only a rumor. The drug slowed her down, to the point where she was still under full mental control, but she was only fit for the basics of life. Asuma, wasn't a ninja. He was just a basic salesman, illegally selling fake jewelry, similar to another brand. Though, he hadn't ever gotten caught, the business was slow, and it wasn't enough to run a household. The money that they had been born with was now needed, in fact. Mikoto was only about six, and she wasn't able to work. So, they relied on this money for about a total of five more years. During this time period, measures of caution were taken just in case the money were to get low. First and foremost, they adopted a son, by the name of Hiro, and he prouldy took the name Chisoku. He was too young to remember anything, so he was told that they were his birthfamily, and that he was from their family by genetics. Though, his hair was black, and nobody in the family had ever had black hair. Asuma's hair was red, and Emi's hair was white.
Though, how could Hiro have known this? He was easily lied to. Both Emi and Asuma never thought of telling Hiro this, because he was better off not knowing. He was adopted because of the lack of another sibling for Mikoto, and for the fact that the more kids that were had, meant the more money that could be produced when a job was aquired. Yes, probably a sad truth, but a truth nonetheless. It was only to be expected. Their money was depleting in large numbers, and they were almost out of choices. Still, the kids stayed as humble as they had ever been, not losing an ounce of happiness out of their day. As for Mikoto, she joined the Yukigakure ninja academy. But, because of her own need. She felt that she had needed to join the academy, to help her family. As she grew up, both intelligence and common sense kicked in, along with the ever popular hormones. Mikoto entered the academy at an age of about 9, younger than most. But, she was ready. Her speed was still her best asset, but she also was fair with projectiles, specifically kunai. To pass the academy, their was a mock battle, with the teacher's clone. The task was to stop the clone at all costs.
Being a simple yuki bunshin, it could be dispersed with one hit. Though, the hit had to be good. Just because it was a clone, doesn't mean it wasn't formidable. Not many passed that day, except for Mikoto. She was far from normal. This bout was outside of the school, in the snowy setting. The clone dashed for Mikoto, but her level of speed made it so that they were very close, meaning he wasn't about to beat her on strength alone. Though, the small child had nearly no strength at all, so punching the clone into submission wouldn't suffice. As he ran around her in a circle, building up snow and pebbles into a small little gust of frozen wind, Mikoto shivered as she grabbed her kunai and held it close to her. His footsteps could be seen somewhat, as they weren't that far from status. So, using her mind, Mikoto ran up to the dash, and was hit back. The force from both the gust, and the impact, threw her out of the dash. This was her plan. She might have been small, but she could take a punch or so.
The teacher's clone then ran for her, as she played possum near the school walls. And, well, you know how the story goes. She went Shikamaru on him, and moved out of the way, the clone crashing into the wall, turning back into the snow that it had been made out of. The teacher was outdone. The others had managed to hit the clone, but Mikoto was one of the few that hadn't landed a hand on the clone, his speed outdoing him. Though, another one of Mikoto's disadvantages. With such speed, it's easy to run into a stationary object, and knock yourself off. Don't get me wrong, she wasn't at the OMG level, but she was fairly faster than the rest of the academy students. And soon enough, as her sensei gave her a blue clothed Yuki headband, she was now an honorary member of the Yukisen's military force, and would soon be sentenced into a genin squad, to where her skills would be honed further. From the streets of Yukigakure, to the other ninja villages, and beyond. This was her future, ever since she applied to become a shinobi. Her destiny.
Asuma and Emi liked the fact that Mikoto was given something to do. She was able to meet new people, and get out of the house, away from Hiro and his whiny habits. He was getting older by the minute, but he was still only a two year old. Mikoto, the eleven year old genin, would have some rude awakenings if she didn't buckle down and get with it. She didn't know much ninjutsu, and genjutsu was foreign language to the kunoichi. I will skip over going in detail with her genin, and chuunin years, as it's pretty much all just some bullshit.
Mikoto's genin years were very useful to the kunoichi. Her sensei was also a kunoichi, known for her efforts in Taijutsu. She was very well organized, and strength was her primary concern. Both Strength, and Speed. It was a deadly combo, that would take years to gain. Though, this is why their sensei was in her early forties. Still, she was one of the strongest women in the village. Kunoichi or not, she kicked ass. Mikoto's two other teammates were males, both of them. One going by the name of Ikasu, and the other, Raito. Their last names were never told to Mikoto, or at least, they weren't told to her while she was paying attention. She was so busy learning from her sensei to listen to the boys claims about having had sex at four years old. Their lies were fascinating, to say the least. She was well versed in the knowledge of bodily functions, and knew where each organ was in the body. If given a projectile, she couldn't hit it, but the anatomy was one of her favorite subjects while taking her shinobi classes. A couple of missions here and there, but overall, nothing really worth mentioning. Though, she had a little lesson in genjutsu, which had her mind playing tricks on her. She walked around with the sensation of being drunk for about a week.
After the years of genin hit their peak, she was supposedly ready to up her game. Her entire way of life would change after three years. Hitting fourteen, she had been promoted to chuunin, by her peers and elders alike. Though, Raito and Ikasu weren't as lucky, and they continued the genin life with their sensei. Mikoto wasn't wanting a team, or anything more than that. She just wanted to up her game. So, for the majority of her first chuunin year, she took on missions, which included her going around different villages and such, with other chuunin and jounin, doing missions for the village. Though, the currency gained was given back to Mikoto, in which she provided for both her parents, and her adopted brother, Hiro. He was now about six years old, and was beginning to catch onto things just as simple as Mikoto had done.
